December 1st, 2025 - devicethread is excited to announce its entry into the equestrian hospitality space with TerraNova Equestrian Center onboarding devicethread SmartAccess and SmartEntertainment as part of its Phase 1 rollout. This milestone reflects devicethread's continued expansion beyond traditional hotels and into unique hospitality settings, where guest experience and operational efficiency matter just as much as they do in any resort or hotel property.

Bringing Smart Hospitality to the Stables

TerraNova Equestrian Center, located on Clay Gully Road in Myakka City, Florida, is developing a cabin-based guest experience across three phases, with a planned total of 120 cabins supporting riders, guests, and equestrian events. As the first phase came online, TerraNova needed a way to manage guest access and in-cabin entertainment efficiently, without placing added strain on reception during peak event and boarding periods.

With Phase 1 of SmartAccess and SmartEntertainment now deployed, TerraNova's cabins offer guests smooth, self-serve access alongside personalized in-cabin entertainment. The rollout included new smart locks installed across all Phase 1 cabins, reducing manual check-in workflows and front-desk dependency as the property continues to build out its remaining phases.

SmartAccess was also integrated directly with TerraNova's existing Cloudbeds PMS, allowing guest access to sync seamlessly with reservations and check-in data as the property scales across future phases.

Notably, the entire Phase 1 onboarding was completed in just one week — a fast turnaround that gave TerraNova a strong operational foundation heading into its next two phases of development.
