December 1st, 2025 - devicethread is excited to announce Stayable's onboarding of devicethread SmartAccess across five properties in Florida, spanning Lakeland, St. Augustine, Davenport, Kissimmee East, and Jacksonville West. This milestone reflects devicethread's continued growth across the US extended-stay and hospitality market, as owners increasingly look to modern access solutions to support lean, efficient front-desk operations across multi-property portfolios.

One Solution, Five Properties, One Simpler Way to Operate

Stayable operates a growing portfolio of extended-stay hotels across Florida, offering guests flexible, furnished suites for stays of a few nights to several months. As the portfolio expanded, managing guest access consistently across properties — each with its own front-desk team and volume of daily arrivals — became an increasingly manual and time-consuming task.

With SmartAccess now live across Stayable Lakeland (176 rooms), Stayable St. Augustine (155 rooms), Stayable Davenport (175 rooms), Stayable Kissimmee East (204 rooms), and Stayable Jacksonville West (243 rooms) — over 950 rooms in total — the portfolio now runs on a single, centralized access platform.

The rollout included a full hardware upgrade, with compatible smart locks installed across all five properties, reducing manual front-desk workflows and reception dependency across the board and freeing up staff to focus more on guest service and less on daily access logistics.

SmartAccess was also integrated directly with Stayable's existing Cloudbeds PMS, allowing guest access to sync seamlessly with reservations and check-in data across every property — reinforcing devicethread's focus on interoperability with the systems hotels already rely on.
