This milestone reflects devicethread's continued global expansion and the growing demand for modern, reliable hospitality infrastructure in premier vacation and investment destinations, where seamless operations and an elevated guest experience must go hand in hand.

Elevating Beachfront Living with Effortless Operations

IQ Luxe develops and manages a portfolio of luxury beachfront residences and villas in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, spanning 86 units across its flagship properties plus an additional 24 units, with expansion that demanded a more streamlined way to manage guest access and in-suite entertainment without adding pressure to front-desk teams.

With SmartAccess and SmartEntertainment, IQ Luxe now offers guests smooth, keyless arrivals alongside personalized in-room streaming and casting. The rollout included new smart locks installed across all units, reducing manual workflows and reception dependency across its properties.

SmartAccess was also integrated directly with IQ Luxe's existing Cloudbeds PMS, allowing guest access to sync seamlessly with reservations and check-in data across the portfolio — reinforcing devicethread's focus on interoperability with the systems properties already rely on.

Notably, the entire deployment was coordinated with just two team members on IQ Luxe's side, underscoring how streamlined the onboarding process can be even for a fast-scaling, high-touch luxury portfolio.
