Hotel Pommier, Iowa's highest-rated and fastest-growing independent hotel brand, is bringing its signature local hospitality to Madison County with the newly acquired Covered Bridge Inn. As with its Indianola and Chariton locations, Hotel Pommier turned to devicethread to simplify guest access and ease the load on its front-desk teams as it continues to grow its footprint across Iowa.

With SmartAccess now live at Covered Bridge Inn, the property offers guests a smooth, self-serve check-in experience, reducing manual workflows and reception dependency. The rollout included 33 new smart locks installed across the property, with the full deployment completed in just two days by a team of two.

SmartAccess was also integrated directly with the property's existing Cloudbeds PMS, allowing guest access to sync seamlessly with reservations and check-in data.

Across all three Hotel Pommier properties, devicethread has consistently simplified access management and been praised for its top-notch customer support — a track record that made Covered Bridge Inn a natural next step for the partnership.
