Role

The Sales Operations Specialist will report to the CRO and will play a key role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization. This role will be responsible for optimizing sales processes, managing CRM systems, creating proposals, following through on prospect calls, and ensuring the sales team has the tools and insights needed to exceed revenue goals.

  • Sales Process Optimization and support: Define lead qualification, pipeline management, and deal forecasting. Own creation of proposals and pipeline follow through.
  • CRM & Tools Management: Oversee the administration and optimization of CRM platforms to ensure accurate data and seamless integration with other tools.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) such as pipeline health, win rates, and quota attainment. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities and forecast revenue.
  • Sales Enablement: Work with marketing and product marketing teams to create the right collateral, playbooks, and training.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Own the lead handoffs, customer lifecycle strategies, and revenue recognition processes.
  • Metrics & Strategy: Track appropriate metrics for the above.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years of sales operations experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong expertise in CRM, Excel and project management tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in tools to manage a large volume of leads across a lifecycle and create actionable insights.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally across product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Mindset: Detail-oriented, collaborative. Excited to learn and grow. Willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with IoT or proptech is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PLG (Product-Led Sales) strategies.
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics like ARR, MRR, churn, and LTV/CAC ratios etc.
  • Hands-on experience with generating proposals, price quotes and contracts.
  • Knowledge of revenue forecasting models and sales compensation design.
