Role
This is a role that thrives at the intersection of product, marketing and sales. The role reports to the CRO and is critical to positioning our products in appropriate markets, producing core content for driving demand and managing the tools and relationships essential for the sales and delivery teams.
- Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft compelling messaging, value propositions, pricing and packaging that differentiate each of our products in the market.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Lead GTM launches for new features, products, and updates, coordinating across marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams.
- Market Research: Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to understand buyer needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Sales Enablement: Develop sales tools, presentations, and training to equip teams with product knowledge and customer insights.
- Partner Enablement and Engagement: Work with partner organizations to train their sales teams and prepare joint go-to-market collateral and campaigns. Maintain relationships with critical peers within partner organizations.
- Webinars & Events: Plan and manage webinars, support Devicethread’s participation in trade shows like HITEC, and create content to attract and engage potential customers.
- Case Studies & Testimonials: Develop customer case studies, gather testimonials, and produce videos working with design & creatives to showcase how our solutions improve hotel operations and guest satisfaction. Collaborate with corporate marketing and design teams to leverage this content into white papers, blog posts, webinars, and other marketing materials.
- Customer Insights: Partner with the customer success teams to capture and integrate customer feedback into product marketing strategies.
- Demand Generation Support: Work with corporate marketing to optimize campaigns with targeted messaging, segmentation, and positioning.
- Performance Analysis: Track and measure the success of product marketing initiatives to inform future strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of product marketing experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and explain SaaS products, features, and value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Storytelling Skills: Exceptional writing and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, engaging narratives.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and tools like Google Analytics, and CRM/marketing platforms (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce).
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally across product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
- Mindset: A strategic thinker with strong project management skills. Must be hands-on and able to individually contribute with very limited resources. Excited to learn and grow. Willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with IoT or proptech is a plus.
- Familiarity with PLG (Product-Led Sales) strategies.
